Garlic Shrimp with Almonds

I meant to post this recipe right after Easter but with my brother coming into town from Baton Rouge and now with my Dad in the hospital, there  hasn't been much time. Anyway, this is an appetizer I haven't made in a long time but is a family favorite. I did make it on Easter and as usual, it was a hit.  Here's the Food52 link:
